Case Study
QuickLiquidity provided $1 million of debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing to a commercial real estate investment fund in Chapter 11 to allow the fund to operate while pursuing a plan of reorganization.
The loan was secured by a priority lien against the funds ownership interest in 5 properties, including this office building, being subordinate only to the properties first mortgages totaling around $60 million.
The debtor had received a term sheet from QuickLiquidity only one day after submitting their request. The DIP loan was then funded within only one day of the approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
